General Merchandising Manager (Woven / Knit / Sweater)
Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and direction to merchandising team for ensuring all orders are followed up properly, efficiently and cost-effectively
• Follow up merchandising process from client servicing, product development, supplier sourcing, vendor selection and quality management to product delivery
• Coach and monitor the team members to develop a strong team for achieving the business targets
• Coordinate with product development, technical support, quality control and production teams to ensure samples development, product quality and deadlines are met with clients' requirements and standards
• Identify and develop new potential garment manufacturers and materials suppliers
• Strengthen and maintain the good and long-term relationships with customers and vendors for growing up the business
Requirements
• Degree holder in Garment, Merchandising, Textile or related disciplines is preferable
• At least 10 to 15 years’ solid experience in garment merchandising, in which 5 years at the same level
• Strong product knowledge in the relevant garment items
• Experience in dealing with US buyers
• Good supervisory and delegation skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Responsible, presentable, well-organized and self-motivated
• Able to work under pressure
