岗位职责:
BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the digital technologies and applying the high safety standards.
What you can expect
In our Product Family Cloud-Native Computing, you will take over the role as IT Infrastructure Service Engineer for the region Zhanjiang, China and will be part of the Cloud-Native Catalog & Integration team. You will work in a self-organized team, with focus on IT request management.
This position is responsible for the commercial handling and technical delivery of infrastructure projects/change requests in the datacenter/on-prem environments.
This role works in close alignment with
• Infrastructure & Applications DevOps teams for preparation and solutioning
• Digital Services teams to coordinate on-site readiness and deliver on-site activities
Main tasks
• Support the implementation of global standards – services, technology, delivery model, mode of operation, sourcing.
• Perform the end-to-end delivery local IT Infrastructure projects and change requests. Main activities incl. but not limited to:
- Highlight and report on project risks & impact, issues, quality and timelines.
- Coordinate & schedule project meetings.
- Support project performance and progress reporting, ensuring all required documentation is maintained and updated in a high- quality manner.
- Perform and schedule required testing, documenting and follow up for problem resolution where required.
- Distribute, communicate and create, where required, communication and change management materials.
• Support project/request closure activities and documentation. Takes the needs of our internal business partners, support and coordinate for the development of required solutions that fits their demand. Prepare such solution proposal and support discussions to enable the identification and selection of the best one (functionality, performance and costs).
• Work with and escalate (as required) the resp. vendor(s) in order to provide right solution to the internal business partner.
• Monitor the deployment process by considering the agreed SLA's, OLA's and KPI's (for example, provision within agreed delivery times). This is done in close cooperation with the internal specialist units. Ensure documentation and quality assurance of our service fulfillment.

Job requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business informatics or in a comparable field。
• Minimum 3 years related working experience, understanding of IT Service Management practices, IT frameworks ITIL4.
• Experience in project and stakeholder management.
• Good communication with a very high level of customer orientation, able to collaborate with remote teams。
• Having experience in delivering Datacenter, Virtualization, Middleware, Database, Linux, Microsoft Server and other similar solutions.
• Understanding of network and security (firewall) topics.
• Experiencing agile way of working or agile implementation approach.
• Fluent in English (written, spoken) and Mandarin.
