Responsibilities:
• Adopt new concept and take initiative in the research process to identify the best approach to turn the concept into a product that will work as intended and be manufacturable;
• Develop or enhance existing or new products based on requirements/feedback from Marketing or Engineering;
• Prepare CAD drawings and costing information;
• Conduct Pre-debug on products before tooling start;
• Provide development and engineering support from EP to production;
• Figure out the most economical method and effective technology to apply to the design.
• Research new technology applications in the market for new product development.
Qualifications:
• University degree in engineering. Strong interests in mechanical product design.
• Working experience in a factory environment, familiar with various manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge in injection molds, plastics, metal parts, motors, and basic electronics.
