The Manager, MES is a key member of the Excellence team who manages the implementation and support of SAP ME/MII solutions. Reporting to the Director, Solution, he/she will be responsible for planning and coordinating the system solutions across functional areas. He/She will be responsible for delivering standardized and high quality application services to support global operations and global processes. ?
- Manage a team of project manager, analyst and developers, providing goals, reviews, ongoing coaching, and leadership, functional mentorship, and support for critical problem solving
- Implement SAP ME/MII solution that will be integrated with SAP ERP and shopfloor equipments
- Design and deploy SAP ME/MII solution to replace paper based and manual process/systems
- Identifies processes for improvement, documents existing processes, identifies and analyzes gaps between current processes and the desired state, designs new processes, develops process performance measures and plans the transition to a new process.
—Establishes and monitors KPI’s and SLA’s and other key quality metrics to monitor the application health, challenging status quo
—Support cross application implementation projects to ensure continued alignment between project stakeholders. Support project teams during implementation activities
- Participate in software evaluations, conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations
- Manage the relationship with internal and external services partners to ensure high quality and efficient service delivery for the application core technologies
—Defines and champion strategic solutions delivery roadmap for SAP ME/MII to Head of Excellence Division and Chief Disruptor to ensure constant alignment with overall vision and providing value to the organization
- Reports regular progress reporting to Director, Solution, VP, Excellence and Chief Disruptor
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, operations management or supply chain
- Minimum 5- 7 years of Manufacturing Execution System implementation experience
- Experience with SAP ME/MII
- Experience integrating shop floor system (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, Historians, MES) to SAP ME via SAP Pco
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Showcase knowledge and experience working within MES solutions in System Interfaces, Data Architecture, Configuration, etc.
- Experience in managing cross-cultural team of system analysts
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills in process management
- Ability to cope with ambiguity and implement structure and clarity
- Ability to work well with people at various levels and with different cultural backgrounds
- Ability to build relationships, influence key decision makers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin highly preferred
- Experience with 1 or more SAP Logistics module (SAP PP, PPPI, QM, MM, PM, WM) preferred
