Responsibility
- Proactively manage the programs and projects to meet or exceed established market share and sales performance targets for an assigned key account base;
- Timely submission of an annual goal-setting package to sales managemen
- Develop and implement action plans for key accounts in accordance with strategy laid out by the Southco Management.
- Establish and maintain customer relationship through the provision of value added solutions; VITO selling; to increase mind-share.
- SFDC discipline: to document all pertinent contact activity with them in the SFDC database, to prepare and submit daily overview summaries to communicate significant field activities and record progress of critical customer programs.
- Market intelligence: to collect, feedback and utilize the information; communicate marketplace activity to Southco SBU and marketing management.
- Proactive communication with supervisor and other stake holders, for example, global account managers, KAM overseas. etc.
- Proactively coordinate required resources to satisfy customer needs. This would include global resources from manufacturing and distribution facilities, customer service, engineering, quality assurance.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree is a plus
- Consultative selling with strong people skills.
- Business acumen. Display an understanding of top and bottom line business issues and impacts.
- Excellent sales, communication, presentation and listening skills.
- Computer literacy and the ability to develop proficiency with various software programs.
