GENERAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
1. Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering philosophies and processes;
2. General knowledge of the advanced technology practiced, both in manufacturing processes and R&D areas.
3. Familiar with project and resource management.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university related to the advanced technology field, or the equivalent in education and experience.
2. 10 or more years experience in a manufacturing environment, with diverse skills in several of the following disciplines: FATP process, product assembly process, mechanical design, materials, electronics, NPI.
3. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
1. Thorough knowledge of DFx processes, reporting mechanisms and tools (ex. Valor for DFM).
2. Provides mentoring to team in supporting and driving appropriate DFx processes.
3. Leads and participates in all elements of DFx analysis including product teardowns, FATP manufacturing optimizations and cost reduction analysis.
4. Gather and organize analyzed data and generate professional reports of such activities and conclusions.
3161 7487-1|171 3289 1475 745. Stay current on DFx activity and direction within the global manufacturing engineering organization. This includes alignment with other internal organizations such as Design Engineering, GOS AME, MSG, Global Services and manufacturing sites.
