【Job Summary】
Working with local and UK teams, under the general direction, applying their skills and expertise to generate solutions that require development or sustainment of new or improved techniques, procedures, or products. Responsibilities include assisting with planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely, cost-effective fashion.manufacturing project. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
【Qualifications】
1. University degree or above, major of mechanical design or related.
2. Good English communication and presentation skill.
3. Acceptable to work in Shenzhen and business travel in Guangdong province other city some time, frequent engineer support for factories.
4. 3~4 years related work experience, have extensive experience to work on EMS field
5. Proficient in 3D software, skill of Mold-flow and mechanical analysis software will be a plus.
6. Good logical thinking, good skill of issues analysis and solution.
-Be good at tooling and process of plastics injection, die-casting, stamping.
7. Skilled with surface treatment, such as painting, plating, print, electrophoresis, laser etching etc.
8. Familiar with engineering material, such as plastics, metal, rubber, and foam, also knowledge with electronic material will be a plus.
9. Personality: integrity, team work spirit, creative, result-oriented, proactive, detail-oriented, open-minded.
【Responsibility】
1. Design review and optimization, analyze prototype, comments tooling DFM and mold-flow report.
2. Special process or difficult parts risk evaluation and control.
3. Verify and approve mechanical parts, participate tooling trial, prepare issues report and recommendation.
4. Monitor product build & prepare technical analysis report for mechanical & assembly issues, recommend solution and verify improvement result.
5. Assist supplier to design and verify assembly and test equipment, fixtures, review inspection criteria and WI.
6. Documents work of project.
7. Coordinate UK team ,EMS factory and parts suppliers for all technical issues during project.
8. Issue ECO.
9. Support tool management.
