Job Description：
- Manage the installation, layout, and maintenance of all network components (hubs, switches, routers, and firewalls etc.) within a company.
- Perform network capacity management (network traffic and performance statistics) by projecting traffic demands/matrices on individual network components
- Have research and evaluation of network technology and recommending purchases of network equipment
- Apply principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge of related inter-networking disciplines
- Perform network failures analysis, what-if simulations, Shared Risk Groups and network survivability studies
- Analyze application behavior using network analyzers and raw packet captures
Job Requirements:
- University degree/college diploma is preferred
- 5-7 years experience administering networks in a large-scale, multi-platform IT environment.
- Broad knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN technologies and design, and Internet Protocols such as IP, TCP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP etc.
- Advanced knowledge of MPLS, VPN and VOIP, as well as traffic profiling and anomaly detection.
- Knowledge of SNMP and Network Monitoring Tools
- Familiarity with networking technologies such as 10/100BaseTX/FX, Gigabit Ethernet, Cat 5.6 cabling, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANS, trunking and switching
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
