Work Experience:
University Degree in Engineering or equivalent. At least 10 years working experience in a manufacturing environment, solid experience in process controls at both suppliers and in-house. Data analysis experience with the ability to organize data to identify improvement opportunities and act upon the data.
Experience in plastic injection molding and sheet metal and tooling is essential, preferably with Supplier Quality Experience.
Strong process control understanding and the capability of using data to identify root cause and validate solutions.
Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills, proven analytical capability.
Strong data analysis skills, including Minitab experience. Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt holder with Six Sigma implementation experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
Proficient level of both spoken and written English and the ability to communicate with US colleagues independently.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute quality improvement programs by applying Six Sigma or quality assurance related tools and methodologies at internal manufacturing facility and at suppliers.
Identify Key Process parameters / characteristics at supplier process which affects parts’ critical characteristics / dimensions.
Drive and lead suppliers and internal manufacturing for process control improvement to achieve defect reduction.
Manage the trouble shooting and CAR activities with internal manufacturing and at suppliers.
Work with other team members to drive improvement at suppliers and support the second source suppliers’ development.
