SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
• RF electronic circuit design down to component level.
• To work with other hardware engineers to design wireless product with various wireless standard including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM, UTMS, LTE
• You will be in charge of executing and verifying RF performance in both conductive and radiative.
• Organize design reviews and provide support to other people in the organization.
• Ensure that the products pass the relevant RF certification.
• Take part in antenna design and verification. (Including DIPOLE, PIFA, Printed antenna, …)
• Creation and/or execution of the detailed product hardware definition.
• Feasibility study on complex technical blocks, managing execution of the designs (e.g.: schematic capture, lay-out, hardware testing, regulatory).
• Management (technical, quality, and schedule) of external ODM partners who will be part of the execution of the design and performing volume manufacturing.
• Hardware debug support for the driver- and firmware- engineers in system development.
• Report on engineering activities regularly to the Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators
• Other tasks assigned by leader.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The position needs to work in Dongguan office.
Occasional business trips are required
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong experience in RF and product design and good understanding of RF principles
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese. (Both oral and written)
• Master's degree (or similar by experience) in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 years and above experience in hardware design and development with at least 2 years in RF area.
• Experience in managing an external ODM-partner or major component sub-contractor is a strong plus.
• Strong experience and good understanding of RF test methodology especially in wireless test equipment usage like network analyser, spectrum analyser, signal generator, communication tester of 2G/3G/4G/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi
• Strong experience in Antenna design and verification.
• Project management experience is a strong plus.
• Quality management experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Ethernet 10/100/1G, USB designs and standards is a strong plus
• Experienced in the regulatory aspects (EMC, EMI, ESD, surges, …) of a design.
• Experience with high-speed PCB design is a plus.
