Siemens Matsushita Components was renamed as EPCOS in October 1999, and became one of the largest electronic component manufacturer in the world.

EPCOS (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. is a part of TDK Corporation as well as a part of Magnetic Group, which headquartered both in Germany and Japan.
