Job Description:
• Seko Hong Kong Inspection Management
o Orchestrate the inspection of product for compliance to specifications.
o Provide Training/technical assessment and directions for proper inspection procedures.
o Review and direct inspectors in checking and measuring areas of product that are critical to quality.
o Provide feedback to the Product Managers when items are surfaced that are not in compliance to spec.
o Document in the QMS and move product in D365.
• Qualification and QMS maintenance of CUI factories in China
o Auditing new and existing factories for compliance to ISO Standards
o Documenting audits with a focus on findings observed. Requesting correctives actions and then reviewing their resolution to a satisfactory conclusion.
o Communication audit findings to appropriate departments for review
o Auditing new factories and creating a network of contacts to effectively establish whether the factory is capable to build products to CUI’s requirements.
o Escort customers that have been granted permission to visit one of our factories and provide logistical help in this process.
• Provide direction and support for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
o Coordinate with the factory the customers requested PPAP protocols.
o Review supplied data for accuracy to the requirements and communicate any discrepancies that need to be addressed.
o Communicate to the proper parties the results of the PPAP and be the point person for any follow up items.
• 8D and FA
o Be capable of reviewing and questioning corrective actions and failure analysis for applicability.
o Provide feedback to the factory when the activities are not comprehensive enough to effectively resolve and prevent the issues from reoccurring.
o Be the liaison between CUI Inc. and the factory in communicating status and timelines for activity completions.
• Provide back up support in regulatory activities as needed for collection of FMD’s, PFAS, TSCA, REACH, RoHS, SKIP, etc.
